Enrolment Regulations and Conditions

Each participant agrees with the following regulations:

Course function

  • In case the course does not reach the minimum number of participants, EDUCULTURE management can modify the course schedule.

Certificate of attendance

  • On the last day of each course, participants receive the ‘Certificate of Attendance’ including description of training (content, period, duration).
  • It is necessary to participate in at least 80% of the course programme, unless otherwise specified.

Europass certificate & Erasmus agreements

  • Participants prepare all the necessary documents (Erasmus agreements & Europass Mobility Certificate) and bring the documents to the course to be stamped and signed.

Absence from lessons

  • Absence for personal reasons, late arrivals and early departures are no reasons for reschedule course programme or refund.

Course cancellations and refunds

  • Cancellations must be communicated via email (educulture.courses@gmail.com) as soon as possible.
  • If participants cancel the course at least 4 weeks before the beginning of the course, EDUCULTURE will refund the entire amount, minus 10% of the course fee or participants can join another course/session in the following 18 months.
  • If participants cancel less than 4 weeks before the beginning of the course, EDUCULTURE will retain the entire amount, and participants will be allowed to join another course/session in the following 18 months.
  • Once the course has begun, EDUCULTURE will retain the entire amount paid.
  • If the course is cancelled due to force majeure (e.g., pandemic) at least one week before the course, EDUCULTURE will refund the entire amount.
  • If the course is cancelled due to force majeure (e.g., pandemic) less than one week before the course, EDUCULTURE will refund the entire amount, minus 10% of the course fee, or participants will be allowed to join another course/session in the following 18 months.
  • Once the course has begun and is cancelled due to force majeure (e.g., pandemic), EDUCULTURE will retain the entire amount paid and implement the rest of the course online.

Course payments

  • Participants should pay the course fees four weeks before the beginning of the course. EDUCULTURE can give a few days extension if participants’ school/institution did not receive the Erasmus funding on time.
  • Participants can pay the course fees from any bank of their country or via internet banking (SEPA transfers) or paying in cash on the first day of the course.
  • Participants pay the bank fees for the transfer.
  • We recommend participants mention their name and invoice number on the payment description of the transfer.
  • Payments need 3-4 days to clear. When EDUCULTURE receives the payment, will send the receipt the next few days. Participants will also take the receipt, stamped and signed, on the first day of the course.

Insurance

  • EDUCULTURE denies any responsibility for loss of property at the seminar venue. Participants must take necessary measures for the safety of their property. We strongly recommend buying insurance against theft, loss of property, injuries, or diseases.

Medical Insurance

  • We recommend participants buy medical insurance or bring their medical card or the European medical card obtained from the authorities of their country.
  • In case of emergency, free treatment is provided in Cypriot public hospitals to all European citizens who own the European medical card.

Privacy

  • Participants authorize EDUCULTURE to use their personal data in accordance with the current Cypriot law (Article 17, 51(I)/2010) and the European law (General Data Protection Regulation-GDPR, EU 2016/679) in order to provide the required services. Personal data are not given to third parties. Participants may request at any moment for this information to be deleted.
